What is Vesa?

VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) is a professional organisation made up of a group of video electronics professionals and companies that review new technology proposals and develop sets of standards to promote uniformity in the consumer electronics industry.

What are VESA mount standards?

VESA has developed a set of standards for the manufacturing of flat screen televisions and monitors. Most manufacturers comply with this standard by adhering to and industry wide hole pattern on the back of the TV or monitor for mounting puposes.

VESA Size and Colour Coding System

VESA is an industry standard mounting system for flat-screen televisions. Ross TV wall mounts are available in a range of VESA sizes to suit almost any mounting situation. Each mount's VESA compatibility is shown on the product packaging with simple universal icons and range compatibility tables, as well as colour coded pack artwork.

All brackets conform to one if not multiple versions of the VESA standards listed above. Simply take a look in your TV's instruction manual, web support page or even have a look at the spacing of the holes on the back of the TV itself to select the correct size for you.
